Tamworth's Chris Smith scored a late equaliser to salvage a draw against play-off hopefuls York.
Richard Brodie, Jamie Clarke and Michael Gash all went close for York in the opening stages, whilst Iyseden Christie fired over for the visitors.
The home side took the lead when when a Courtney Pitt corner was headed in by centre-back Luke Graham.
York missed a host of chances to double their lead before ex-City player Smith tapped home an 82nd minute leveller.
