AFC Telford United moved up to fifth in the Blue Square North after securing a 1-1 draw at Hyde United.
The Bucks took the lead on 66 minutes when midfield man Phil Trainer tapped in after good work from Andy Brown.
But the home side immediately responded, Nathan Arnold equalising just a minute later.
Telford captain Lee Vaughan was then sent off for a professional foul with 15 minutes to go but Bucks keeper Ryan Young saved the resulting penalty.
Bucks manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We should have won the game.
"We're going home with one point and not three, all because of a mistake that cost us dearly."
