Gateshead 3-1 Forest Green

Gateshead moved a point further away from the relegation zone with victory over fellow strugglers Forest Green.

Graeme Armstrong put the home side ahead with a 12-yard volley before Daniel Powell equalised for the visitors with a low shot.

But Peter Winn restored the Tynesiders' advantage before the break by firing home from 25 yards.

Brian Wake secured Gateshead's win late on, drilling a shot past Daniel Ireland to leave Forest Green second bottom.
