Paul Carden scored a late winner as Cambridge beat Histon to extend their unbeaten run to six games.
Histon's Charlie Sheringham had seen his penalty saved by Simon Brown after Danny Crow handled in the box.
The visitors took the lead when Andy Pugh slotted past Brown from inside the penalty area.
Scott Neilson slotted home a Crow cross to level the scores and Carden got the winner for the home side when he fired home from 30 yards late on.
