Injury-ravaged York City suffered a third straight defeat as relegation-threatened Salisbury came from behind to win at Bootham Crescent.
After a close-range Reece Connolly miss York cashed in when Djoumin Sangare headed in Neil Barrett's free-kick.
But Salisbury got back on level terms early in the second half, Connolly making up for his early miss by slotting in from the edge of the area.
And, 11 minutes later, Darrell Clarke completed the turnaround.
Top scorer Richard Brodie had three late chances to salvage a point for play-off hopefuls York, who stay sixth thanks to AFC Wimbledon's defeat at Crawley.
But the 21-goal striker failed to really trouble Salisbury goalkeeper James Bittner, stretching York's winless run to six matches.
