Tamworth 1-0 Gateshead

Veteran striker Iyseden Christie's second-half header was enough to give Tamworth victory over lowly Gateshead.

Christie grabbed the crucial goal in an entertaining game 11 minutes after the interval when he nodded home Tom Shaw's corner from six yards.

Michael Wylde wasted a good headed chance to put the hosts ahead with the score 0-0 and Sebastian Lake-Gaskin hit a post with a close-range shot late on.

Carl Jones spurned Gateshead's best opening, heading wide from close range.
