Crawley twice fought back from a goal down to hold Salisbury to a draw.
Matthew Tubbs fired the home side ahead after Chris Bush found him 12-yards out but the visitors hit back when Barry Cogan volleyed past James Bittner.
Salisbury regained the lead when Tubbs bagged his second with a low shot after Karl Broadhurst failed to clear.
Crawley stepped up the pace after the break and levelled again through Glenn Wilson, who found the target with an effort from close range.
Crawley boss Steve Evans told BBC Sussex:
"In the first half we lacked our fluidity from Saturday. If we're going to push into the play-offs we're going to have to raise our game.
"The second half is the best performance of Crawley Town ever under me, and that's a big statement.
"Salisbury City are a decent team and we absolutely tore them to shreds. The passing, movement and quality was great.
