Harrogate manager Weaver sees improvement in defeat
Simon Weaver took charge of Harrogate Town in the summer
Harrogate Town have fallen to the bottom of Blue Square North after losing 1-0 at Blyth Spartans.
They were leapfrogged by Vauxhall Motors who won at Ilkeston.
Chris McCabe scored the only goal of the game for Blyth, leaving Harrogate rooted to the bottom of the table without a win since September.
Boss Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York:"We were lacking a quality and composure in the final third, but apart from that there wasn't much missing."
Weaver demanded better after the defeat at Alfreton Town in their previous game.
"I thought we were very competitive. I was true to my word after the game the other day. I said it after the game so I'm not going to say much before the next game.
"I thought everyone was at it and really tried. They put their bodies on the line and won the first and second ball, played in areas."
Harrogate Town now face fellow strugglers Gainsborough Town and Vauxhall Motors in their next two games
Weaver said: "We'll be trying our best for 6 points. You can stress the importance until you're blue in the face but all you can do, 110% every game, every challenge, fight for every ball and be logical about stuff."
