Reece Styche became an instant Forest Green hit after coming on at half-time to score twice on his debut at Hayes.

Steve Basham headed the hosts ahead from Dale Binns' cross before Tomi Ameobi squared it up from six yards.

Teenager Styche, who joined Rovers from Chasetown on Monday, netted minutes after his arrival from close range.

Basham looked to have rescued a point with four minutes left, but seconds later Styche sealed the points with his 15th goal in his last 16 games.
