Brodie is the top scorer in the Blue Square Premier with 20 goals

Top scorer Richard Brodie hit another two goals as York City broke their club record with an eighth straight league win at home to 10-man Hayes & Yeading.

Chris Carruthers turned in a Brodie cross from close range to make it 1-0 and Brodie volleyed in the home side's second after the interval.

Hayes had Tom Cadmore sent off for a foul on Brodie who soon added a third with a 20-yard strike.

Kevin Gall hit a close-range fourth before Scott Fitzgerald's consolation.
