Ram Marwa's second-half header gave Hayes & Yeading all three points and prevented AFC Wimbledon going fourth in the Blue Square Premier.

The game started slowly after a 15-minute delay, but Hayes defender Tom Cadmore went close with a free-kick that flew over on the half-hour mark.

Ben Judge and Jon Main then both went close to putting the visitors ahead.

But it was left to Marwa to settle the contest when he headed in Marc Canham's floated cross from close range.
