Graham Westley's Stevenage are unbeaten at home this season
Stevenage missed the chance to go level on points with Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford in an entertaining goalless draw with AFC Wimbledon.
While Oxford were held by Salisbury, Borough could only earn a point despite having the better chances.
Dons goalkeeper Sebastien Brown made an early save from Stacy Long, while Borough's Chris Day denied Jon Main.
The keepers were less busy after the break, but Brown had to make late stops from Lee Boylan and Yemi Odubade.
AFC Wimbledon have now gone 566 minutes in the top flight of non-league football without conceding, with Brown's efforts ensuring that their record was extended at Broadhall Way.
The result leaves the Dons, who are unbeaten in seven games, fifth in the table and occupying the final play-off place.
Second-placed Stevenage lie two points behind Oxford, having played two games more.
Despite missing the chance to draw level with the leaders, Graham Westley's side keep their unbeaten home record intact.
Stevenage manager Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"There were two very good sides out there today.
"The two teams acquitted themselves magnificently. Either side could have won it.
"Our keeper made two incredible saves and their goal came under a lot of threat, but I think we probably just about edged it on chances but both sides will probably go away thinking it was a very good game.
"They are never an easy prospect, I thought they were very good today. But credit to the lads, we dug very, very deep today."
