Kettering were held to a goalless draw against Tamworth in their Blue Square Premier Boxing Day clash.

Danny Thomas went close for the home side while Simon Heslop saw his shot just before half-time well saved by Lambs keeper Danny Alcock.

Tamworth also had their chances in the first half with Chris Smith and Simon Brown both seeing their shots blocked.

Both sides had chances to score in the second half but were unable to find the crucial breakthrough.
