Burgess joined the Stags on loan from Luton last week

Debutants Andy Burgess and Lee Morris were both on target as Mansfield came from behind to see off Gateshead.

The hosts took the lead in first-half injury time when Michael Mackay ran onto keeper Paul Farman's huge wind-assisted punt and poked the ball in.

The visitors responded in style after the break and Oliver Hotchkiss netted with a superb 30-yard shot.

A fine 20-yard drive from Burgess made it 2-1 and substitute Morris converted Jon Challinor's cross to seal the win.
