Highlights - Oxford 1-0 Barrow
Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford United bounced back from last weekend's defeat at Kidderminster with victory over Barrow.
Striker James Constable scored the only goal from the spot midway through the first half after being brought down by Barrow keeper Stuart Tomlinson.
But Oxford failed to extend their lead and missed several opportunities.
Paul Rutherford then had a late chance to draw level for Barrow, but volleyed his shot high over the bar.
The result leaves Oxford top of the Blue Square Premier table, five points clear of Stevenage who won away at Forest Green.
