Mansfield 1-1 Eastbourne

Mansfield salvaged a point by coming back from a goal down to draw with Eastbourne Borough.

Stags striker Kyle Perry managed just seven minutes on the pitch before a Gary Elphick challenge forced him off.

Borough, who were without a win in nine games, then took the lead just before the break through a Kayne McLaggon strike from 12 yards.

But a spirited second-half performance from Mansfield was rewarded when Joe Challinor poked home from close range.

Simon Weatherstone, Joe Benjamin and Liam Enver-Marum all missed good opportunities for Eastbourne, who lie just one place clear of the relegation places, while Mansfield remain in the play-off spots in fourth.
