An early Lee Boylan goal was enough to ensure a comfortable win for Stevenage against Forest Green.
The visitors took the lead on seven minutes when Andrew Drury crossed for Boylan to head in from close range.
Stevenage continued to dominate and went close to doubling their lead just after half time when Ronnie Henry drove a 35-yard shot against the post.
The home side struggled to make an impact on the game as Boro restricted them to just a few chances.
Forest Green Manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

"I'm really disappointed because there was a team out there that wanted it more than us.
"They just kept it away from the danger area.
"We need to be more relentless and tougher, both mentally and physically."
Stevenage manager Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"I thought the first-half was a good performance.
"We put some freshness into the team, we were very bright and passed the ball well. We should have gone on and got an extra goal in the half.
"You've got to win 1-0 sometimes, we had a good clean sheet and we looked menacing enough going forward to have won it more easily."
