Kettering 2-2 Wrexham

A Jean-Paul Marna penalty in the fifth minute of injury time salvaged a draw for Kettering at Rockingham Road.

Kettering went into the lead in the fifth minute as Anthony Elding headed home after Simon Heslop's cross.

But Wrexham hit back in ugly fashion, as goalkeeper Lee Harper knocked the ball into the back of his own net from Mansour Assoumani's lofted shot.

In the 21st minute Ashley Westwood scored, but Mike Williams fouled Elding late on and Marna levelled.

Wrexham boss Dean Saunders:
"What happened at the end is the type of thing that stops you getting promoted, gets you relegated, gets the manager the sack - that type of thing.

"To give a penalty away there, for anybody at the ground, is just unbelievable, ridiculous, needless. Just ridiculous.

"There's no arguments from me [about the penalty].

"I was on the other side of the pitch and he [referee David Coote] probably could have given two penalties for that, it was that blatant."
