Michael Rankine scored the only goal of the game as the pressure increased on Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish.

York started the stronger of the sides and were denied several times by Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Lance Cronin.

The home side finally went ahead just before half time when Alex Lawless set up Rankine who fired home.

York continued to control the game and the visitors could not find a way through, condemning them to their 12th league game in a row without a win.
