Ex-Salisbury man Griffin has scored four goals in his last two league games
Second-placed Stevenage Borough have closed the gap on Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford United to seven points after beating mid-table Salisbury City.
Borough's Mark Roberts headed the home side in front just before half time to cap an impressive opening 45 minutes.
City substitute Chris Flood struck from inside the area shortly after the break to equalise, before Borough's Charlie Griffin converted Andy Drury's corner.
Chris Beardsley then confirmed the result, scoring from close range.
Borough's Yemi Odubade had a chance to further extend the home side's lead, but the in-form forward missed with a header from inside the box.
Salisbury manager Tommy Widdrington told BBC Wiltshire:
"On the whole I think we probably deserved to come away from this game with something.
"In no way, shape or form am I disappointed with my players performances.
"I thought, to a man, each and every one of them knew what their role was and they stuck to their task and I'm very proud."
