In-form Brian Smikle made 10-man Wrexham suffer, helping Kidderminster to their third-successive home win.
Wrexham midfielder Silvio Spann was sent off after just 16 minutes when he careered into David McDermott, the Harriers man playing no further part.
The visitors survived until the 50th minute when Smikle rose to head Robbie Matthews' cross into the back of the net, his sixth goal of the season.
Matthews then produced a clinical finish from the edge of the box.
The result will have disappointed Wrexham manager Dean Saunders, who celebrates a year in charge of the Racecourse club on Friday.
