Forest Green Rovers extended their undefeated run to six with a victory at struggling Chester.

Conal Platt opened his account for the season when he seized on keeper John Danby's mistake off a Sean Rigg shot.

Platt had a long-range effort saved before Rigg struck from 18 yards to double Rovers' lead.

Chester had chances either side of the break before Kevin Roberts headed home Neil Ashton's cross but they could not find an equaliser.
