Altrincham snatched an injury-time victory over Gateshead thanks to a Matthew Doughty penalty.
The home side took the lead when Anthony Danylyk rifled his effort into the net but Graeme Armstrong equalised shortly after from six yards out.
Phil Turnbull's 20-yard rocket put the visitors in the lead before Chris Denham headed a 90th-minute leveller.
The penalty was awarded after James Curtis fouled Chris Senior and Doughty kept his nerve to convert it.
