In-form Tamworth took their unbeaten run to six Blue Square Premier games but were held to a goalless draw against Altrincham at Moss Lane.
Tamworth created the most clear-cut opportunities, but were unable to find the back of the net as Alty stretched their own unbeaten run to four games.
Sebastian Lake-Gaskin and Simon Russell both wasted chances before the break.
Jake Sheridan flashed wide, veteran defender Des Lyttle headed over from six yards and Russell then blazed over.
And it took a fine save from Coburn to deny Neil MacKenzie four minutes from time as Altrincham held on for a point.
