Substitute Craig Hammond scored a late equaliser to earn Histon a point from their clash with Kidderminster.
Nathaniel Knight-Percival had gone close for the home side before Chris McPhee fired Harriers ahead, slotting home from Darryl Knights' pass.
Histon keeper Danny Naisbitt kept out Martin Riley's header, while McPhee and Knights also went close to a second.
And the visitors were made to pay for not taking their chances when Hammond finished calmly from 12 yards.
