Simon Thomas scored a last-gasp winner for Ebbsfleet against 10-man Eastbourne, atoning for a penalty miss.

Thomas saw his penalty saved by Danny Knowles just before the break after he had been brought down by Gary Elphick.

Knowles' afternoon turned sour soon after the restart when he was sent off for fouling Magno Vieira, who stepped up to convert the spot-kick.

Jamie Taylor levelled from 12 yards out but Thomas converted Vieira's cross deep into injury time.
