Gateshead's Jamie Harwood earned his team their first Blue Square Premier point since being promoted.

The home side's late equaliser cancelled out Nick Wright's opener from six yards in the 42nd minute.

Tynesiders' Darren Forsyth saw his 74th-minute 20-yard free-kick parried by Danny Alcock and the rebound was turned over the bar by Alex Francis.

Alcock denied Michael Mackay twice from 20 yards in the last quarter of an hour before Harwood scored from close range.
