Chester 2-4 Cambridge Utd

Chris Holroyd
Holroyd has hit five goals in his last two games

Former Chester striker Chris Holroyd's hat-trick ensured his old club's Blue Square Premier debut ended in letdown.

Ben Wilkinson gave Chester a dream start inside a minute before substitute Nick Chadwick made it 2-0.

But Cambridge then levelled with two goals in first-half injured-time, Holroyd's penalty being followed by Robbie Wilmott's disputed free-kick.

Holroyd's overhead kick put the U's in front and he completed his hat-trick with a last minute tap-in.
