York and Rushden and Diamonds are still looking for their first wins of the season after a goalless draw.

After opening-day defeats, both clubs got a point on the board in an evenly-contested encounter that was devoid of any clear-cut scoring chances.

Lee Tomlin shot wide and was also denied by York keeper Michael Ingham in the first half at Kit Kat Crescent.

At the other end, Dale Roberts dealt with Michael Rankine and Richard Brodie efforts on either side of the break.
