Didcot chairman John Bailey says he is optimistic he can convince manager Stuart Peace to remain at the club.
Peace has taken the last two weeks to consider his future after guiding the Railwayman to promotion to the Southern League Premier.
"We're very optimistic that we can hang on to him," Bailey told BBC Oxford.
"He has been a very good servant to the club, we couldn't ask anymore of him. We have had success after success in the five years he has been with us."
He added: "Hopefully he will stay with us and push us on further if we can."
