Law signs new Alfreton contract

Nicky Law
Law guided Alfreton to their highest ever finish this season

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has signed a new contract keeping him at the Impact Arena until 2012.

The former Bradford City boss helped the Reds reach the play-offs in the Blue Square North this season, losing 5-4 to Telford in the semi-finals.

Town chairman Wayne Bradley said: "We are delighted that Nicky has agreed a new contract.

"He has been asked to continue the very good work and foundations put in over the last two years."

Law will now focus on keeping key players at the club as the Reds look to build on an impressive campaign.

Bradley added: "We don't want to be seen as one season wonders and it is important that we start the planning and shaping ourselves for next season."
