A 65th-minute goal from Nick Wright ensured Tamworth were promoted to the Blue Square Premier with a 1-0 home win over Hinckley United.

Wright was denied a second by the offside flag, but the hosts held on.

The Lambs are now five points clear of their nearest rivals Gateshead heading into the final game of the season away to Telford.

Tamworth return to the Conference for the first time since an ill-fated 2006-7 campaign ended in relegation.
