Redditch United took a major step ensuring their Blue Square North survival with a vital win over Vauxhall Motors at the Valley Stadium.

Garry Hay gave the Reds the lead in the 13th minute and Owen Storey looked to have sealed it with a second 20 minutes from time.

But Anthony Wright pulled one back for the Motors a minute later, leading to a tense finish.

The victory leaves Redditch seven points clear of the relegation places.
