Oxford maintained their late charge for a play-off spot with a comfortable win at relegation-threatened Woking.
The game was delayed for an hour due to crowd congestion, with more than 2,000 Oxford fans making the trip.
But they were soon celebrating as Micah Hyde brought down Adam Murray, who fired in the free-kick himself.
It was 2-0 on 18 minutes when Craig Farrell crossed for Simon Clist to fire home and secure a third successive home defeat for Woking.
