Northwich Victoria were relegated from the Blue Square Premier despite victory over mid-table Mansfield Town.

Even if Vics win their last three games they will go down as York must play Weymouth and whatever the result, one of them will be out of reach.

Stags keeper Jason White made decent saves from Lee Elam and John Allan but the home side led when Simon Grand headed in Joel Byrom's inviting corner.

And Elam made it 2-0 after the break, volleying in Byrom's cross.
