The visitors wasted good early chances as Michael Gash and James Smith both failed to convert from close range.

And the Stags capitalised when Louis Briscoe scored his first goal on 22 minutes with a fine, low finish.

And Richard Duffy doubled the lead two minutes after the interval when he headed Ryan Williams' cross beyond goalkeeper Lance Cronin's reach.
