Ebbsfleet 1-0 Altrincham

Ricky Shakes' solitary goal proved to be enough for Ebbsfleet as they beat Altrincham to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.

The home side should have taken the lead in the first minute but Luke Moore shot over from just six yards out.

Barely 10 minutes later they were ahead when Shakes latched on to a loose ball and slotted in from 12 yards out.

Ben Wilkinson had a 20-yard drive saved and Greg Young shot wide in stoppage time as Altrincham chased an equaliser.
