York 0-0 Kidderminster

Kidderminster's four-game winning run came to an end as they wasted a host of chances in the goalless draw with York.

Matthew Barnes-Horner came closest to an early breakthrough as his curling shot hit the post after nine minutes.

Michael Ingham was at full stretch to deny Darryl Knights before the hosts got into the game with Onome Sodje testing Kidderminster's Adam Bartlett.

Sodje saw another long-range effort well-saved before Brian Smikle shot wastefully wide at the other end.

Kidderminster manager Mark Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"It was never going to be a pretty one but it was blowing a gale straight down the pitch and I think that affected the quality of the game.

"I thought we were excellent in the first half, but we just didn't quite get the same performance in the second half.

"It is a point gained and we are a point closer to where we want to be."
