A late goal from defender Tom Guiney rescued a point for Atherstone Town in their 1-1 draw at Romulus in the Southern League Midlands Division.

But the second-placed Adders will probably view it as a case of two points dropped as they look to maintain the pressure on leaders Leamington.

Brakes currently head the table by 12 points although they have played three more games than Jimmy Ginnelly's side.

Nuneaton Town could leapfrog the Adders by beating Marlow on Tuesday night.
