A last minute strike by Burscough skipper Brian Moogan was enough to settle a blustery Blue Square North battle on Saturday.
The result was rough justice on relegation-threatened Redditch United, who dominated large parts of the game at Victoria Park.
Burscough played better in the second period and tested the Reds' defence.
The pressure told in the end when Moogan pounced on a loose ball and fired home from 18 yards.
