Eastbourne and Salisbury had to settle for a share of the spoils as neither side could find a breakthrough.

The hosts edged the first-half with Matt Smart, Nathan Crabb and Paul Armstrong all spurning opportunities.

Salisbury improved after the interval but a series of corners led to nothing, while Charlie Griffin saw his effort tipped round the post.

The night ended on a sour note for the Whites when Michael Fowler went off with a suspected groin injury.
