Luckless relegation battlers Redditch United were left seething as James Dean's controversial late equaliser rescued a point for Harrogate Town.
Debutant Gary Hay's glancing header five minutes from the break looked to have earned three points against the Blue Square North promotion chasers.
But Dean levelled at the CNG Stadium 15 minutes from time.
And the Reds were convinced that there had been a foul on keeper Danny Lewis in the build-up.
Harrogate finished the game with 10 men as Nicky Gray was sent off late on.
The draw lifts Redditch a place to 18th in the Blue Square North table - but they are still just two points clear of danger, ahead of this Tuesday night's key home date with Stafford Rangers (10 March, 1945 GMT).
