Guiseppe Sole scored both goals as Ebbsfleet helped their battle against relegation with a surprise win over top-of-the-table Burton Albion.
The Fleet deservedly went ahead in the 33rd minute when Sole fired in a 25-yard free-kick after he was fouled.
The visitors levelled just after half-time when Greg Pearson headed home Jamie Yates' right-wing cross.
But when Andrew Corbett handled in the box, Sole stepped up to slot in the 69th-minute penalty.
