Matthew Barnes-Homer scored two first-half goals as 10-man Kidderminster comfortably beat Eastbourne.
Harriers defender Craig Armstrong was dismissed for a late challenge on Dan Smith after just 14 minutes.
But the red card galvanised the home side who took the lead when Barnes-Homer fired into the bottom corner.
He then converted David McDermott's cross after 24 minutes to double the lead. Eastbourne pressed after the break, but Harriers defence held firm.

Kidderminster assistant manager Neil Howarth told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"They were outstanding from start to finish, you couldn't fault any of them.
"There were very few mistakes and each individual performance was outstanding.
"[As for the sending-off], Craig was disappointed with the decision but when I saw the referee I thought he was going to show a red card."
