Bad weather across the country has hit the sporting programme

Oxfordshire's sporting schedule was left devastated this weekend after snow ruled out most of the county's local outdoor fixtures.

Oxford United's game at Kettering on Saturday was the first to be cancelled.

That was followed by all fixtures for Oxfordshire sides in the Southern and Hellenic Leagues.

The county's rugby fixtures also fell foul of the weather with no action for Henley, Chinnor or the Oxford Harlequins on Saturday.

Kettering's second attempt at staging their game against Oxford United on 10 February has already been cancelled due to the hazardous conditions in and around the Rockingham Road area.
