Richard Brodie's goal just after the break earned a vital point for York at Altrincham.

The hosts took an early lead after a fine strike from Shaun Densmore from inside the area.

Just after the half-hour York were awarded a penalty but Brodie's powerful spot-kick was well saved by goalkeeper Stuart Coburn.

But Brodie atoned for his miss when he smashed home on 46 minutes to earn a point for the visitors.
