King's Lynn battled hard against third-placed AFC Telford United in a match that came to life after half-time.
Telford only took the lead 10 minutes from the final whistle, Andy Brown putting the ball past Lynn keeper Scott Howie with a shot off his shin.
Just five minutes later Lynn were back on level terms, Luke Graham tapping home a loose ball from just two yards.
The game had started nervously, both sides apparently unwilling to repeat disappointing New Year's Day results.
Telford's shock home defeat to Stafford Rangers had cost them the chance to go top of the Blue Square North. But Saturday's draw took Rob Smith's side to within two points of leaders Tamworth, whose trip to Burscough was called off.
But the gap could increase as Telford are not due back in league action until 17 January when they host Hyde United.
Before then they face two cup ties, also at the Bucks Head - this Saturday's FA Trophy date with Hayes & Yeading United (10 January, 1500 GMT) and next Tuesday night's Setanta Shield clash with Kettering Town (13 January, 1945 GMT).
