Nigel Clough's Burton moved further clear of Histon at the top of the table

Burton moved 13 points clear at the top of the Blue Square Premier after a convincing win over lowly York.

The visitors opened the scoring when Greg Pearson's shot was parried by goalkeeper Michael Ingham and Michael Simpson smashed home the rebound.

Richard Brodie equalised from the edge of the box five minutes later before Shaun Harrad put Burton back in front from close range in the 62nd minute.

Marc Goodfellow made sure of the win, curling the ball into the top corner.
