Brackley Town's dream of an FA Trophy tie at home to Blue Square Premier side Wrexham was ended by a 3-1 first round defeat at Basingstoke on Tuesday.
Brackley took the lead through Ben Mackey, but the home side netted three times in the last quarter of the match to seal their place in round two.
Meanwhile York City have booked their place to meet Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium in the second round.
The Minstermen saw off Northwich Victoria 2-0 in their first round tie.
