Cambridge boosted their hopes of a promotion play-off place with a comfortable home win over Salisbury.

Robbie Willmott put them ahead by heading home Scott Rendell's cross and Rendell doubled the lead with his third goal in five games.

Chris Holroyd killed off any Salisbury hopes of a comeback when he met Jon Challinor's cross to head home.

And Courtney Pitt rounded things off a minute later by firing his first of the season from 12 yards.
